Lifeless and leafless

Another day off school - we are having a five day weekend, which pleases the children no end (I don't mind either). Teachers strike yesterday, report writing day today and Queen's Birthday public holiday on Monday.

Only 3 more days of Lucy walking before my parents are back from their big UK trip - and then I'm going to really struggle to take photos every day that aren't just of my garden.

By the way; I love trees, even dead ones (maybe especially dead ones?). (This is a gum tree - it's not supposed to be leafless or lifeless.)
