What a difference a year makes!!

I started with a compact, inherited a bridge camera (at a price) and I'm now the proud owner of a DSLR!! Haven't used it yet because for once I'm going to attempt to read some of the instructions, so that I have some idea of what I'm doing!! The try it and see method doesn't help if you can't remember how you got there to be able to repeat it!! There is no back button to check the stages and at my age my memory is not always reliable.

I've managed a whole year with only 2 missing days and if I'd been more aware at the time that it doesn't matter what you blip, I could have done something....anything!!

This is a brilliant site / community / principle ........more words than I can think of at the moment. I'm enjoying the participation, learning and all the support that the members and the back room boys and girls provide.

I came in to this site on the advice of my daughter. There were to be major changes in the working and living arrangements for her and her husband and we all needed a way to keep in touch.

Thank you P for the opportunity to see Kathmandu, thank you R for sharing this gem of a site. Mum can see all is safe and sound from a distance and have a new hobby in to the bargain.

When I think "where did the time go" I look back at the blips and see how much has been done!!

Thanks to all blippers for sharing an aspect of their lives with me :0)

PS The evening meeting last night was worth the journey in the foul weather. Have a source of new slides for Beijing from a "gut" man, a bit of magic!!
