Poppies by the Sea

I was up early this morning and went to the supermarket before picking up Chrissy & Stephen to take them to the coach park to get their bus to take them to Gatwick. They're off on their holiday to Corfu.

Luckily, I made it back home before the roads closed for the naked bike ride, which you might remember I blipped last year.

Alan spent most of the day finishing off the painting of the fence (see my blip from yesterday), and then I planned to help him paint the decking, but we decided to leave it and go for a walk instead.

We walked along the beach to Rottingdean and sat and had a drink at The White Horse. Then on the way home we saw these poppies at the side of the road so I stopped to take a blip. Believe it or not this iPhone picture turned out better than those with my camera!

Anyway, it's late and we're off to bed, so I'll say goodnight x
