Fox and Cubs

Lots of these orange wildflowers in the garden at the moment, they just keep popping up everywhere.  They are also known as Orange Hawkweed.

Found two dead bats in the garden this morning, then in the next village sadly a dead black and white cat and shortly after a dead blackbird.

Went to Rickerby Park in Carlisle this morning and got the timing right as it was full of dogs so Misty had a wonderful time both in and out the river.  Afterwards bought a new fluorescent light tube for the garage as have had no light in there for quite a while now, but it doesn't work!  So looks like I'll have to get an electrician in.  I'm assuming that the tube doesn't need to be the same make as the fitting??

A lady from a neighbouring village has taken away some of my stone from the old pond.  She is a stone sculpturer who was very interesting to talk to, she really knows her stone!  She invited me to look around her workshop soon, so looking forward to that.
