On the up?

So having spent most of the morning trying to decide whether to take J to the urgent care centre he confounds us by getting up before midday for the first time in many weeks and not being fully tired. Took him a couple of hours to come to and eat some food but then a couple of his friends came over to visit and he spent a happy 3 hours playing both inside and out. Bed at 7.30pm and we literally have no idea what will happen tonight but even if we go back he has had a fabulous day and spent time laughing with his friends. And got some much needed colour in his cheeks.

Meanwhile I took Anna and a friend to Green Days, a two day fair on our local green with rides and stalls and a talent show and other performances. It's a great community event and a lovely place to spend an afternoon. I only felt bad that I left Albi at home as everyone and their mother seemed to have taken theirs.

So a happy day around here.
