It is Friday!

This is John Woodhouse on tenor saz leading the quartet of Professor Mike Reynolds on keyboard, Stu Lewthwaite on double bass and Ted Richards on drums.

Looking on is Julie, who brings glamour to the jazz nights. The heads of well seasoned jazz followers turn as she enters the room and before they know it they are giving her lots of money - for the weekly raffle of course! As she says, when she does the raffle - "its to help with the transportation of the jazz musicians" from as far afield as Manchester and Liverpool. Ted tries to help her but generally gets his words mixed up as he is far more comfortable in bringing us up to date about Samantha (aka I'm sorry I have not got a clue - for those who listen to Radio 4 ).
