1940s Triumph Dolomite!

We went to Upton House this afternoon for a walk around the gardens but discovered this was also their 1940s Triumph owners' weekend too.   The National Trust is celebrating the end of WW2 by having the house displayed in the style it would have had in the war when it became the main offices of a bank evacuated from London, the vintage cars fit in really well with many of the owners in period dress too.

Today's extra is 'love in the mist' one of Gill's favourite plants which grows in the terraced garden at Upton.
