Late pasque flowers

Five minutes after setting off for our Sunday walk the rain came, we sheltered under a bridge and took a rain check. Plan A was still on: to climb the local peak Piz Arpiglia, a good 1000m height gain from the house. The saxifrage, pasque flowers, soldanella and more were our good companions on our ascent.
We made it, had a very brief lunch, as we watched the dark rain clouds gathering fast, and then sprinted downhill (knee supports in action) whilst the rain and wind pummelled us on the ridge. I think the dog suffered the most, but now we are all at home in the cosy warm drying out nicely.
