Birthday rose

Today, I joined the ranks of my peers who have already made the age of xx! You know who you are!

Had a great evening with our neighbours at the annual Gemini BBQ where 3 of us each year celebrate our birthdays within a few days of each other. Always a great laugh and great food provided by Gail following her recent cookery weekend. The home made Honeycombe ice-cream went down a treat!

Tidying up was left to this morning and and had miraculously been done by the time I got back from walking the dog - Result!

The rest of the day has been a slow relaxing day doing not much at all - that makes a nice refreshing birthday treat :-)
