Mad dogs and Englishmen......

.........Go out walking in this weather!
Mizzle at the start of our walk, cleared up a little when we stopped to have lunch. Sat under some oak trees!
First 4 miles done!
Then just as we thought things were improving, it started to rain again, and didn't stop for the last 4 miles as we made our way back to where we had parked.
Fortunately our waterproofs did what they were supposed to do, and kept us dry.
Also good company helped keep spirits up, and we did have a laugh.
Just thankful to be sat down back at home with a nice cup of tea!
The shot was taken at Almscliff Crags. You can see how misty it was. No wonderful photos of the view today!
The countryside did look beautiful, even in the rain!
( the walk was from Stainburn Moor car park ,across Lindley Moor,Little Almscliff, Almscliff Crag, Braythorn village, and back. Between Otley and Harrogate.)
