I shot in Program mode, and it was at ISO 1600, so I halved the shutter speed; ISO 800 was better, so I halved shutter speed again. Quite pleased with this, at f1.4, 1/15", and ISO 400.

Went to IKEA again, returned yesterday's step stool and got the one we actually wanted - and with no missing parts, yay. And I had fun playing in the kitchen: vegie bruschetta for lunch, and then whipped up an Italian sausage risotto - having made my own vegetable stock with the offcuts from lunch prep. 8) Pretty pleased with myself, and with how it all worked out.

Oh, the risotto.
