Devils Bend Reservoir.

Jack woke me at 5.30 this morning, I was not a happy Nanna.
Once the rest of the household were awake we had Breakfast and did a little bit of house work. It was a beautiful day so headed to Devils bend for a walk and a picnic, this reservoir once provided the water for the area we live in but was decommissioned in 2000.It sat dormant for a while before they did some work on it and opened it to the public. You can walk, fish, BBQ and there are a number of birds to be seen, including a couple of Birds of prey.
After yesterdays Fungi I saw lots more today bright red ones and one that was at least 25cm across unfortunately someone had smashed it.
