It's the Simple things in life like where and when
The wind is getting up, and the rain is forecast which can only mean one thing in the UK; Festival Time!
My morning started at 4 am, as the Bean yelp at Si, who as ever ignored her. I staggered downstairs, and kicked her our, praying that the neighbours weren't up as I fell round the door in the buff!
I started to drop off to sleep, when the racket started. Wrackkk Wrackk Wracckkk of the Crow. Akkkkk Akkkkkk Akkkkk of the Magpie, and the occassional "mwah ha ha ha" of the seagull. Twenty minutes it went on for, all screaming at each other. It was only fair I woke Si to ask him what he thought they might be doing. He didn't know.
The clock went off at 5.45, and I managed out of my pit at 6.10 to be greeted in the kitchen by my vision of Festival Go-er. Jeesus. How does she do it? Underneath the sweat - she has skimpy little PEACE vest one - white straps showing round the halter, hair is wild and free and a multitude of summer colours, she has wellies on, shorts in the freezing cold, and she still looks amazing!
Dad thought he was walking her to the station but she put her petted lip to good work, and got a lift - 300 yards walking, half a mile in the car. About a third of the gang were there when we arrived. They have the train to Glasgow, and then a walk between stations and the Happy Bus to Inverness.
Claudia (S) was there to wave H off and looked stunning in her jammies and work out top! I was impressed that she had infiltrated H's bag and put paper plates and napkins in - There wasn't space in Tooli's bag for me to put anything in! Although I was impressed with her crispy bacon pieces to put in a roll for breakfast!!! ha ha ha
Anyhows, by 6.30 I was back in bed, and now I have managed to drag myself out again for the third time. Thank F it's Friday, it's been a long week, and tonight, I need an early night!
Have a Ball Girls - You Look The Part for sure!
