All Saints Church, Oakham

Another day dedicated to a concert. This time with the Tudor Choir in Oakham.

Rehearsing at 3pm meant leaving home just before 2pm.  Got back at 10.20pm.

Good concert. We sang Elgar's 'Bavarian Highlands,' and the 'Nelson Mass' by Haydn, very ably conducted by Barry Collett, with my friend Judy Dodd as soprano soloist.

A repeat of the Haydn is due in Leicester next Sunday.

Heavy rain most of the day. Driving home through a mystical landscape with low mist over the fields.
