Pine

Pine is not endemic here - too hot for them, I guess. This is obviously a planted one. I will check on Decembet if it is used as a Christmas Tree.
There is a lot of pine in the south of Brazil, especially from the Brazilian species of coniferous trees, the Araucaria. It is more ornamental than pine, in my opinion. Besides the native trees, there are also some planted forests used by the pulp and paper industry.
