Grotto di Catullo

We went to these Roman remains of a large villa at Sirmione today. It was amazing how much of it is still standing.
It was very hot today and we were startled by a loud knock on our door when we were sitting on the balcony. It was the barman racing round and and pulling in everyone's awning before an expected thunderstorm. It turned out to be a flash in the pan :-)
