Delighted

A busy day with three children, including driving to Alexandra Palace for an ice skating lesson, then bus to Crouch End for brunch, joined by second daughter and son in law. A wander round Crouch End Festival and we managed to acquire three balloons! They survived a bus journey and two of them came back with us in the car, annoying the driver somewhat. Tea was purchased during a fun trip through Marks & Spencer's Food Hall in Sevenoaks, then home for tea, lots of books read, discussions about comets and satellites and now we are baby sitting . . . exhausted!

At Banner's Restaurant in Crouch End we had great food and the children were given paper and crayons with which to design covers for the menu books. The eldest took this very seriously and, when she handed it to one of the ladies, it was immediately placed inside the see-through cover of one of the menus - she was absolutely delighted. I wonder whose inspired idea that was!
