Picking up lunch

What a contrast in the weather compared to yesterday: about 8 degrees and raining. I headed off to RSPB Insh Marshes, as they have some hides so at least I would be dry. Not a lot going on but the visit was livened up by this heron which caught a snake, which is wrapped round its beak. After about 10 minutes of stabbing and biting the unfortunate reptile went head first down the Heron's gullet.
