Grate Expectations

Having spent most of the week cooped up indoors I was looking forward to heading out this morning with the camera to one of the parks. Typically of course this meant that the weather did a quick switch from summer to winter mode complete with flurries of rain being driven by a strong cold wind. As a result I never got any further than buying a paper before retreating back to the flat. This cheerless piece of urban detail rather summed up my mood at the time but the signs are better this evening and tomorrow is a whole new day :-)
