A Walk On The Wild Side.

Not so much of a walk as a slide.
Rather than a macro shot of 'just' the snail, I thought I would try and put in in context of where it was (on the edge of the pond) by using the fisheye lens.
Believe it or not the lens was almost touching the snail and I had to lie and wait until it slowly re-emerged from its shell after the shock of having me and the camera arrive uninvited.
