Along the Regent's Canal
Up in London today for the Open Garden Squares Weekend - a chance to visit some of London's hidden treasures of green spaces, including ones that aren't usually open to the public. This was taken in Camley Street Natural Park by the Regent's Canal, a short walk from King's Cross. It's a local nature reserve created on what used to be a piece of waste ground - a brilliantly inventive example of urban regeneration. It includes a Floating Forest Garden on an old coal barge, which is slightly further up the canal from this one. I will be coming here again to explore further!
