Nous Sommes Enceinte!

Even on a rain-soaked weekend, Montreal still has the same charm and appeal it had when it lured me there eight years ago.

I loved my time in Quebec but it's fair to say, despite my best intentions, I struggled somewhat to immerse myself within the Quebecois culture.

I'd often try to practice my French whilst I roamed the city but as soon as I stumbled (which was frequently), people would become a little frustrated and respond in English. If only I had paid more attention in school...

I must admit, the benefits of a bilingual city become far more appealing to a father-to-be. How brilliant would it be to raise a child who is fluent in multiple languages?

Having caught up with a few old friends, I can't wait for the 12 week scan to hurry up so I can share the news with everyone...
