Iris
Popped up to Pickering Castle as we heard some Kestrel chicks had hatched. The chicks are only just over a week old and are huddled together in an arrow slit high up on the interior Bailey walls.
A telescope has been rigged up for visitors but I need a much larger telephoto lens to get a decent photo.
Called in at the Quaker Meeting House gardens and spotted this Iris standing out against a slate commemorative plaque.
