Smooth Rocks
This Blip was taken in a little bay near Woolacombe. The cliffs around there seem to be formed by layers of rock strata which have been pushed vertical by geological forces, and are the classic Devonshire rugged coastline. Lower down however, the rough surfaces have been smoothed by the effects of waves leaving these lovely undulating patterns .
