In The Occupied Territory

By FinHall

No Quarter

You are now entering the Merchant Quarter: the ancient heart of the city, where once Kings had palaces and where monasteries once stood.
Where young boys were kidnapped and held prisoner before being taken to America and sold into slavery. Where once a thriving market was.
Imagine it before the road above, Union Street , was built as a viaduct. An amazing feat of 18th century engineering on it's own.

Today we reach V. And this is in celebration of the wonderful North East summer.
Which was yesterday.

The extra photo is for the Scottish media and bookies, who have been touting Aberdeen's manager to take over at Glasgow Rangers, or Sevco as they are familiarly known by most people.
Despite being away on holiday in Florida he signed an extension to his contract to remain here.
