Pasties ???
Well, I was asked to try my hand at cornish pasties and being a good ole Canadian, I'm up for anything. Now, I have never even had a pasty so this was a stretch for me. I was kinda freaking out that you put everything in raw, so I talked to some people and watched endless youtube videos. I decided today was the day, so here they are. I found the pastry to hard, but maybe that's the way is supposed to be...but the filling cooked just great and tasted fantastic. I know my crimping techniques leave a lot to be desired, but I think that will come with practice.
Not bad for first attempt...but I think I really need to work on the pastry.
Is this what they should look like inside?
