Summer

Beautiful day spent largely outside. We visited friends up at the Wall this morning to plan this year's Wigwam Gang adventure. Quick lunch back home and then it was time for the school open afternoon which had been organised by the Year 6 pupils, and a fine job they did too. The girls had a wonderful time. We got home slightly earlier than usual so there was time for a bit of Minecraft before driving to town for the girls' swimming lessons. I went into the splash pools with Arwen during the girls' lessons and they joined me afterwards. It's fun but the getting changed again at the end bit is always chaotic and a bit frustrating when I'm trying to get changed myself too and can't hurry them on. A lot of messing around takes place...
