Hanging proud

A new acquisition for the house, from Colonsay, of which we are very proud. Wool from Balnahard Farm, processed, dyed and worked into a hanging by the proprietor's father who lives outside Dublin, and brought back and sold at the Old Waiting Room Gallery, which has prime position on the island just as you come off the ferry (and which seems to be run by the same person who works the farm and presumably organises the self-catering accommodation out at Balnahard).

We're very happy with its new position just by the entrance to the kitchen in our open plan living space.
