More butterflies

This butterfly craze won't last!! I have included the male of the dragonfly I blipped a few days ago, the Common Whitetail Skimmer. The top right and bottom left are the Little Wood Satyr, I think, and the fourth is a Painted Lady.

It is much cooler today, a day's respite until it gets hot again. I am glad you all enjoyed yesterday's blip which I now think was a Great Spangled Fritillary. I did take a great number of photographs to catch them with their wings anywhere near open, something that would never have happened in the days before digital cameras!!!
