lacework

this is a christening robe that has been in the family
for many years but hasn t been
used for quite some time , in parts it is
yellow with age and today when I saw my
mother she asked what on earth we could
do with it as all the young ones in the family
have decided against the traditional baptism

I m giving it a gentle hand wash and may use the
lace panels on a pillowcase or perhaps a lace
bag for hankies ...too beautiful to discard
