Chateau de Versailles

I don't normally post pictures of pictures, let alone pictures of pictures of pictures, but this is one of a set hanging in the office that have really taken my fancy.

Taken by Robert Polidori in the mid-80s during restoration work at Versailles, with colours that make you look twice to decide whether you are looking at a photo or a painting.

Little did I know it was the last day I would see them.
