Hot Day Today!!

It was a very hot day today - these are our summer days - it will rain tonight and tomorrow!  Anyway it was also a bit of an old-fashioned day too.  First photo is of course the iconic E-Type Jaguar and this one looks like it has had a lot of restoration work... Here are some examples of what it costs to buy one of these restored beauties. Second, old-fashioned blip is the ice cream wagon where I was able to enjoy a classic, old-fashioned 99 (they are the ice creams with a Cadbury flake in..) Not sure where the name 99 came from for this type of ice-cream - perhaps some kind soul will enlighten me. Then an old-fashioned cake courtesy of our digital marketing, the E-Word.  Lovely day!!
