Drochil Hill and Callands

A nice warm day. As the contractors are not due until tomorrow, I may as well take advantage of the free time. The first bike ride of the year that doesn't require waterproof or windproof clothing. I head down to Penicuik, over the Moor Road to West Linton, then Romannobridge.

On the road through Newlands to Lyne Station, I stop to take a picture of the lovely countryside I am cycling through.

At Lyne Station, I head home via the Meldons, Eddleston, Gladhouse, Mount Lothian and Auchendinny.

The afternoon was spent wandering around Morningside, followed a nice cup of coffee and cake to replenish spent calories.
