Windmills

I didn't know until we arrived that there were windmills here in Majorca. There are over 3000 on the island in fact. Those in the south were mainly used to bring water to the surface from wells. Those in the north were mainly used to grind grain.
Many are out of use or ruined now but there is government initiative to restore them to full working order.
These two are right beside the Via Maritimo right in the centre of Palma.
