Raindrops on Ranunculus

"Ranunculus -- the word itself is round
And rich and brightly colored and so lush..."

As other blippers have said before me, what is special about these flowers is that they are mine, and what's more, the first I've ever planted. The bulbs are so funny looking, like a miniature bunch of bananas. Took a better photo yesterday, with the afternoon sunshining through the petals - not much of that today - but that's what blip is about - capturing today, with its drops of rain.

So good to have our youngest home; the other two on their travels - Fortaleza and Sevenoaks.
