We're very fluffy .....

I can't prove it though as obviously Mrs Mallard didn't let me touch them but she was very patient with me whilst I was kneeling down, a little too close to her and her brood,  and allowed me to take a few shots of the lovely family before Mr. Mallard called to her and she took her babies off to the safety of the water.

I've been in Newport (Shrops) today - had a very nice new hair-do and a walk by the Canal, then it rained - not good for a new hair do but the ducks loved it (and the gardens, of course).

Off out now to see 'High Society' performed by our local Am Dram group - if their last shows of 'Summer Holiday' and 'Hello, Hello' are anything to go by we'll have a very enjoyable evening.
