Harbor Lights

As most of my followers know I do everything in this journal in a signature style I developed myself and I call 'New Delft Blue'.

Some time ago I was digging in my memory what could have been my original subconscious trigger.


Yesterday I saw this Harbor light, and I suddenly knew the probable answer.


In 1960 - when I was 5 years old - my mother had a record of The Platters called Harbour Lights and I recall playing it over and over.


The cover of that single - which I still have somewhere in my storage - is in a kind of Delft Blue. The shrinks are right… it all comes back to childhood memories and experiences ;-)
