Busy Day

It's all go here today. I have men in cutting down dead trees and broken branches. We have lots of logs for the wood burner this winter.
I'm getting myself packed because in just an hour I'll be on my way to the Lake District. A long six or so hour drive ahead of me. I just hope. The roads are clear.
I'm off to do a couple of swims in The Great North Swim in Windermere, plus a walk up Scafell. That should keep me busy.
I can't believe the amount of stuff I need for this weekend. Better to have too much than not enough. Hope the weather behaves itself and doesn't ruin all the plans.
