Summer Party

The lush grass meadows and woodland are deep green and seem at their most beautiful now. A perfect summers day. A leaving do mid afternoon for a much loved colleague who has worked with us for 42 years. Balloons, bunting, sandwiches and cakes and a gathering of many people on this summer's afternoon was a special occasion, but tinged with sadness. A 2.5 hour drive up to Mum's after work. Tired but glad to be with her.
