Speckled Wood

A few days break from the care of my parents mean I can hopefully catch up on blip.. I saw this speckled wood along the Basingstoke Canal whilst visiting the Surrey Artists Open Studios. The artist lived in a houseboat on the canal and her studio was on the banks. The art included reflections of the canal alongside tree abstracts. We drank tea, discussed her work and listened to a delightful duo of musicians in a beautiful woodland canal setting.. Utterly wonderful to find this oasis in the middle of the Urban Jungle that is Surrey!
