A Spin in the Car
Work today for Annie was in the HQ of a large software organisation in Reading. The camera went along too, but it was one of those days where nothing jumped out to be taken.
So in the evening we both set out in the car for an explore of our local countryside. We love the thrill of exploring new places we've never been before. They may only be local, but they're still new.
This was taken on the way back having explored well, but still not found anything obviously blippable. It had turned very grey and overcast.
Shortly after this picture was taken, Annie totally forgot how to engage the correct gears on her car, and parked across an A-road whilst pulling out on to it. The very same A-road she'd survived walking along just yesterday. We tried 3rd gear, we tried reverse - ah yes - there's 1st. It was "a bit of a moment", for both us and the van she nearly reversed into.
Finally pulling away, she muttered "tut - girl drivers"... :)
