Not happy
I think I'll keep a low profile today. Not my fault, I hasten to add, not at all, but we're sitting on a powder keg here.
It started off really great., SHE went off volunteering in the Park, on account of it's a magic kind of day. But just before SHE went I told her there was trouble in the front garden, but she couldn't see it for looking.
Next door's dog got out, and jumped into our front garden, using her massive winter flowering salvia as a trampoline. She's upset on two counts - first it provided important winter nectar for our Eastern Spine Bills, which she loves with a passion. (She's got a thing about birds - personally I don't share it, but whatever floats your boat).
Secondly and I do have to agree with her here - it looked pretty spectacular with bright purple flowers all over it.
SHE's trying to look on the bright side and is already planning what she can put in its place.
I can tell she's upset though - she actually complained to next doors, and that's a thing she rarely ever does. She's not the complaining sort on the whole.
In other news, I dismembered my favourite sucky toy. Now she'll have to mend it.
Not happy.
