The Magna Carta

Lincoln is proud to have two of only four copies of the Magna Carta stored in the Castle. This weekend is the anniversary of 800 years since it was written and so the city is in celebration mode. We were invited along with all the schools in Lincolnshire to receive our own copy - I took two fabulous students and we had a superb afternoon in the cathedral, meeting Lord Justice and receiving our framed copy. It was a lovely afternoon - the highlight of my job.
