A thank you from Brathay

Today in my lunch break I went to the Brathay trust. They invited me to say thank you for fundraising for them when I ran the London marathon as a bond member for them.
They do such amazing work there. Today there was a John Lewis graduate scheme doing team building. The corporate work offsets the charity side.
There was a group from the Princes trust and a family doing a residential. The boy in the picture was part of the family, he was here with his carers. The look of sheer joy on his face, nearly made me cry. My temporary pain, the support of friends and family to raise money for this great trust made it all worthwhile.
