Parallel Universe

I love reflections and this seemed appropriate today.  My daughter had her surgery yesterday and it went great!  Her hearing is so much better - already!

She described the change in her ability to hear like this.  Before the surgery her world was a radio with the treble turned up on high and with no base - kind of a tinny sound.  After the surgery, someone turned up the base making all the sounds around her fuller, richer and more musical.   With all the tones now present, she can hear with more clarity. 

When I saw these leaves and their reflection, I thought of the two parallel worlds that my sweet daughter was living.  There was the clear one, the real one that is focused and then the reflection that can sometimes be distorted.  Same leaves, different perceptions.  She was living the reflection but now my daughter now gets to live in the world of clarity.  So happy!!!
