A new adventure

I've been waiting an awfully long time to buy myself a Good Camera. 

I've spent about a year looking at all the weaponry used here on Blip. Months of deliberating over brands, models and lenses. Weeks of waiting for stock to come in. And finally - today - hello new friend!

I am slightly terrified. I'm worried that my camera has more brains than I do. I'm excited by all the learning ahead. I'm hoping I'll be able to take a decent picture once in a while. 

I'm sort of happy with my first photo - although I'm not sure it's in focus. I was lucky with my model (thanks Tom) and the light.  What a gorgeous evening. 

June, when it finally arrives, is the perfect month.
