Daisies
I had to laugh last night when I got an email from school telling us that it's the school photo today and they need to wear their blazers.
Naturally the blazers were still at the dry cleaners because I'd forgotten about them the minute I dropped them off so I had to drop off the Little Misses off at school, dash to the dry cleaners, pick up the blazers and get back to school with them.
They looked amazingly clean - I was mortified at how scratty they must have been looking!!
I met Mrs L at Looby Lu's for lunch. I'm thinking of taking out shares!!! She was child free and quite giddy!
We went from there to stare at our new house (which is something I never seem to tire of!) and then back into town. After saying goodbye to Mrs L I went into Waitrose to buy nuts, popped into the shop to tidy up a bit and see that I've sold quite a few more cards, woohoo. Then - because I'm a lovely wife - I bought Mr K a huge sausage roll from the the butcher.
Miss L has been so excited to get to swimming today. It was her trial in yellow hats and she's been so looking forward to it.
She was amazing!!! She looked like she'd been at that level for ever, doing all the strokes brilliantly and swimming miles!
I went to chat with the teacher afterwards and asked how Miss L had got on. She grabbed my arm and said "Go and book her place. Go and do it now before someone else gets it!! I want lovely swimmers in my class!!"
I was a very proud Mummy!
And Miss L was so proud of herself too!
Back to school for Miss E, home for words with Mr K - who thinks he can go to work on the day we move and I can just handle it all by myself.
Er, no!!!!
Then to Tescos for more nuts.
I've been reading news articles about the mystical powers nuts have to ward off neuro-degenerative diseases as well as heart disease, diabetes and respiratory diseases.
I will be eating lots more nuts!
