Go for a walk with the Cygnet.

The Cygnet was not a happy boy today.
He came home from Mother & Toddler with tears on his cheeks and very sorry for himself.

A short time later he took SWMBOs hand and headed for his bed.
When he woke up - 21/2 hours later he was roasting.
We couldn't tell just how high his temperature was because the battery in the thermometer was dead.
So after lunch we headed out to get new batteries and more Calpol.

Needless to say his temperature had dropped by the time we got home.

However, at tea time he was taken up to the hospital because his temp. had risen again ...... to over 41c

I had to go to a camera club committee meeting and after half an hour of pettieness and squabbling and they couldn't even agree as to whether last months minutes should be approved I lost the plot and walked out on them.

Unfortunately I left my phone there.
So SWMBO headed out to retrieve it and seemingly left them looking rather sheepish.
I will leave it a few days (to let them stew) before telling them to stick it where the sun don't shine.
Or maybe I will wait until the end of the summer break and announce it to the entire club.
Either way the club is without a President.

After 3 hours at the hospital the Cygnet was sent home because his temperature had come back down again.
As usual they are putting it down to 'a virus'........
