I think I startled him!  He was singing his head off in the sunshine, although it may have been a warning call because I was close by - it was quite a racket!  Yet another day in the garden.  When will this dreadful heatwave end.  

Hosepipe bans and sunscreen warnings will be top of the news tonight no doubt.
