I make no apologies......
for this shot, but it is one of my favourites in the garden at the moment.
Its a lovely Geranium or Cranesbill the variety of which escapes me at the moment....I must look it up later.
Carol has gone to see the Doctor with D who is suffering again, & then when she comes home I must go & get a few more bits of shopping for Mum before we go over to visit later on.
It is such a lovely day; the sun is shining & there is a gentle breeze. The High School girls are making a racket behind our garden but I can still hear the sound of the bees that are busy busy busy.
In the garden at the moment there is a swathe of multi coloured Love in a mist. The are still a few Granny's Bonnets in bloom. The Spiraea is starting to go over as are the 2 lilacs that have been so wonderful. Some poppies have gone & others are waiting to take their place. There is the yellow Lypsimachia showing through in the border as are small clumps of feverfew. There are foxgloves, shrubby geranium, fuscia & cranesbill. Roses are starting to appear as are Jacobs Ladder & the Pyracantha (Fire Thorn) is in full flower. The Ceanothus or Californian Lilac that I planted 15 years ago at the bottom of the garden is visible from the kitchen & is a mass of blue......
Have a happy Thursday & make the most of it as it will probably rain tomorrow.....
